The High Commission of India is pleased to announce that the Ministry of External Affairs of India invites applications for the Scholarship Programme for Diaspora Children (SPDC) for students pursuing undergraduate studies in India. The Scholarship Programme is for Diaspora Children (SPDC) for the academic year 2025-26 for the Children of NRIs/PIOs/OCIs. A copy of the SPDC guidelines and banner for 2025-26 is provided below for reference.
The last date for submission of the duly filled-in application forms in the prescribed format is 25 February 2026.
The scheme provides financial assistance of up to USD 4,000 per annum to children of NRIs, PIOs, and OCIs pursuing undergraduate studies in India.
A total of 150 scholarships will be awarded, with 50% reserved for female candidates. Selection will be made on a merit-cum-means basis.
Last date to apply: 25 February 2026.
